“By-Kylie” started with a very simple thought: the things we use every day at home should just work well. They should feel reliable, look good, and last long. Not complicated, not overpriced… just better basics.

How It All Started?

The name comes from a place, not a person.

In early 2024, our founder, Mr. Hasan Tahir, was living in Oak Brook, Illinois, and going through one of those phases where you start actually paying attention to your home. He had recently moved into a new place and wanted it to feel less like a temporary stop and more like somewhere he actually lived.

So he started looking for home essentials. Proper table lamps, some wall lighting, and décor that didn’t look like it came from a clearance shelf. What he found was frustrating. Either the products were overpriced for what they were, or they were cheap and didn’t hold up. There wasn’t much in between.

He began sourcing products himself, testing them, and keeping only what met a certain standard. Friends started noticing the pieces around his home and asking where they came from. That’s when the idea took shape. There was space for a store that focused on everyday products that actually made sense.

The name “By-Kylie” came from Kylie Avenue, a quiet street where many of these early ideas came together during morning walks. It felt simple, personal, and right.

By-Kylie officially launched in June 2024.
